January 11, 2010: Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF) is proud to announce that it is a Major sponsor of the eleventh annual Nonprofit Innovation Awards. BSSF has sponsored this event five times since the creation of the awards ceremony.
The Nonprofit Innovation Awards recognize and honor local 501(c)(3) organizations and executives demonstrating innovation in their daily operations at all levels. Honorees are located in and serve the following counties: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and/or York.
An independent panel of judges evaluates and determines the finalists in the following categories: Brand Identity/Unique Marketing Campaign, Collaboration, Management Operations, Programs and Nonprofit Leadership Excellence. All finalists will be recognized at an awards breakfast on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at the Valencia Ballroom in York, PA. Winners will be announced at the event and award recipients in each of the organization categories will receive a check for $2,000. The award recipient in the Nonprofit Leadership Excellence category will receive a check for $1,000 made payable to his/her organization.
The awards were created in 2000 as a program of the Central Penn Business Journal in partnership with the Foundation for Enhancing Communities, the Lancaster County Community Foundation and the York County Community Foundation.
