April 20, 2010: BSSF proudly supports the 37th annual American Cancer Society Daffodil Days Campaign.
"We are very excited to support the American Cancer Society during the 37th annual Daffodil Days campaign this year in the Capital Region," stated Kenneth B. Wolfe, President at BSSF. "Our team at BSSF knows that the fight against cancer can be won starting right here in our community by raising money for the American Cancer Society's mission through donations received for daffodil days events."
The daffodil is the first flower of spring, and is the perennial American Cancer Society symbol of hope for cancer patients throughout the community. The dollars raised through Daffodil Days enable the American Cancer Society to save more lives and create more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures and by fighting back.
Not only has BSSF been an annual supporter of the Daffodil Days campaign, they are sending their support post-campaign through Dress Down Days and Wall of Hope campaigns.
